Forshaw Construction recently joined forces with the BBC’s much-loved TV show DIY SOS to help transform the home of a deserving family in Preston. The project saw the team rally together with volunteers from across the region to deliver a life-changing renovation in just over a week.
The challenge involved converting a modest two-bedroom bungalow into a spacious five-bedroom dormer bungalow, complete with a specially designed disabled bathroom and improved accessibility features to meet the family’s needs.
Adam Garner, Commercial Manager at Forshaw Construction, praised the experience, saying:
“Great experience helping out a family in Preston. Turning a 2-bed bungalow into a 5-bed dormer bungalow with disabled bathroom and access in just over 1 week.”

Forshaw Construction’s involvement highlights the company’s commitment to giving back to the community and using their expertise to make a real difference in people’s lives. The renovation will provide the family with a safe, comfortable, and accessible home tailored to their needs.
