The on-going development includes 58 affordable homes and will provide a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes available for shared ownership and rent-to-buy.
Richard Jones, director of growth for Your Housing Group, said: “This development will be a great addition to the town centre, bringing a brownfield site into use, building on a sustainable location and adding to the wider regeneration of the town centre.

“It will provide high-quality affordable homes and enable many local people to take their first step on the property ladder with options for shared ownership.”
Forshaw Construction has now begun superstructure works to the majority of site.
Lyndon Forshaw, managing director of Forshaw Land & Property, told Place North West he established the construction division in order to have more control over costs amid rising construction prices.
The contracting arm will focus on low-rise housing schemes outside of the city centre, Forshaw said.
